and to glorify Allah for
that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will
be grateful.

Hadith
Abu Ayyub al-Ansari

Shawwal. it would be
as if he fasted perpetually. [Sahih Muslim]

Best Clothes
"The Prophet
used to wear his best clothes for the Eid

Eat
before you leave
Allah's Messenger
would not leave (his house) on the day of Fitr
until he ate some dates. (Bukhari)
Pay
Zakaat al-Fitr
Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is Zakaat
al-Fitr, and whoever pays it after the prayer,
it is ordinary charity. (Ibn Majah)
