The Prophet, صلى الله عليه وسلم, said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate. [Bukhari]

Is there a need for foster parents in the Muslim community?Join us for a workshop on Thursday, August 9, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Al Huda Institute, 5671 McAdam Road, Mississauga, to learn more about foster care-giving, and how to become a foster caregiver. Get all your questions answered by a panel of speakers including social workers from a fostering agency, and Muslims who are currently involved in foster care. RSVP now.
