About the course
The course is offered in the Urdu language, taught by Dr. Idrees Zubair, The study will take students through a comprehensive study of selected Ayahs of the Qur’an. The course includes recitation, translation, word analysis and grammatical analysis of the verses.
Ways to take the course
On Campus Only
This will allow you to be in a classroom environment, to experience student-teacher interactions, to study alongside other students and to get the opportunity to learn, practice and share in a group setting
Pre-requisites
- Brothers; must have fluency in the Urdu language and ability to read Qur’an.
- Students must also have a personal interest to learn and understand the Qur’an.

Who is eligible for the course?
- Men of all ages are welcome.
- Have the basic ability to read Qur’anic text.
- Ability to understand the Urdu language.
- Students must also have a personal interest to learn and understand the Qur’an.

I want to join this course but I am living outside Canada. What is the procedure to join this course?
This is a limited time course offered for local audiences.
AlHuda Online offers some courses where young boys and young men are also accepted. Please visit www.alhudaus.com.
For any other long term courses also, Al Huda does not facilitate visa/residence arrangements.
I heard about the course late, can I still join? How will I cover the missed lessons?
Late admissions acceptance will be upon the discretion of the teacher depending on the duration of lateness and class logistics.
Are there any age limits?
- Men of all ages are encouraged to join the course.

Urdu.
Is there Hifz also in this course?
No!
Is there minimum class size to run the course?
- All courses require a minimum class size to be run.
- Courses with limited/insufficient enrolment will be cancelled.
- Minimum enrolment of 10 students necessary to run the course.

When are we supposed to register by?
Ideally, registration should be completed as early as possible.

What are the class timings?
Saturdays | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Thursdays | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Salah times will be built within the timetable to ensure all students and team members pray in congregation according to Al Huda Masjid schedules.

What books are we required to have?
Course have required books that will need to be purchased from the AlHuda Book store.
ATTENDANCE
What is the required % of attendance required for the course?
Minimum 80% attendnce is required
ASSESSMENTS
Are there any tests or exams? If so, are they written or oral?
Assessment details will be advised by the teacher in class once the course begins.
VOLUNTEERING
Is there any service at the Institute I can volunteer for?
Yes, the Institute is always in need of committed, energetic and modest male volunteers for a variety of events and setup needs. If you are able to dedicate a few hours every week, please discuss with the Course Coordinator.
Will I be able to get any reference letter if I do any volunteer services there?
