Terms and Conditions for “Ask a Scholar” Service
1. Service Nature: The “Ask a Scholar” service provides general advice and guidance. Scholars are not consultants, therapists, or licensed medical professionals, and no medical advice will be given.
2. Free Service: This service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is currently free of charge. Availability is limited, and participation is not guaranteed.
3. Appointment Cancellations: Clients are required to give at least 4-5 hours’ notice for any cancellations. Failure to do so may impact future access to the service.
4. Confidentiality: All personal information shared during the session will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties.
5. Accompaniment Requirement for Women: Women seeking advice must be accompanied by another woman or a male companion during the meeting. Private consultation with our scholars can not be catered to, for a woman alone.
6. Right to Cancel: The scholar reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any session at their discretion, without prior notice.
7. Liability: By using this service, the client acknowledges that the advice provided is general in nature, and the scholar is not liable for any decisions or actions taken based on the advice received.
8. Amendments: The terms and conditions may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice.
