Cafeteria space and kitchen is included but no furniture. If furniture is required, you must rent / arrange your own including all settings and removal after the event. All events should end, and the hall vacated by 11:30 p.m. NOTE: Main Lecture Hall is NOT included in this contract. RENTAL CHARGES The renting fee is $400.00 for group size up to 100 persons, $500.00 up to 200, $600.00 up to 300, $700.00 up to 400, $800.00 for 500 persons and above. Security deposit is $100.00 which will be refunded after the event. No discounts will be issued on rentals. GENERAL The Lessee is responsible for all damages to Al-Huda property. This includes damage caused by vehicles, persons and vendors associated with the event. Client/Guest Group, children may NOT enter or use rooms and other areas not specified in the Hall Rental Contract. The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold Al-Huda Institute harmless for all claims and liabilities, costs, expenses, and legal fees that the Institute may incur because of the use of its property on the dates set forth. Once the contract has been signed and the fees are paid, any changes must be made in person at the Al-Huda Institute office by the Lessee only. Prayer timings will be observed strictly, and masjid will remain open for the general public to join the Salah. No open flames or candles will be allowed due to fire codes. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS All cancellations are to be made in writing and in person by the Lessee to the Manager Al-Huda Institute. An administration fee of $25 will be charged for all cancellation prior to the scheduled event. If the event is canceled less than 7 days prior to the event date a $50.00 fee will be assessed. PARKING Parking is only allowed in designated areas and no loitering in the parking lots at any times. DECORATING & Hall Set Up The only decorations permitted are those which may be placed on the floor or on the tables. No candles or open flames are permitted in the Hall at any time. No decorations of any kind are to be hung from the ceiling, sconces, chandelier, walls, or doors. No staples, tape, nails, paper clips or thumb nails are to be used on the walls, ceiling, doors or windows. Setting up of the Hall shall be the responsibility of the Lessee. THE EVENT During the entire period of renting the supervision of all activities remains the sole responsibility of the Lessee. USE OF KITCHEN No cooking of foods is allowed due to fire codes. The microwave may be used only to reheat food and must be turned off. All food must be brought in the hall from the back entrance. CLEANING & CLOSING All areas of the facility must be restored to original conditions immediately following the conclusion of the event. Restoration includes: Removing all decorations, boxes, signs, etc. All chairs and tables are to be removed and kept back at their original places. All trash on floors and in garbage receptacles is to be placed in plastic bags and taken to the big trash container outside. Kitchen sink, refrigerator, microwave, stove, and counters are to be wiped down and clear of all food articles brought in by the Lessee. Kitchen and Main floor is to be swept broom clean. All food articles and spills are to be cleaned from tables and floors. Food is to be removed from the refrigerator. No grease is to be poured into the sink. All grease is to be placed in the receptacles and thrown in the container kept outside. Absolutely no washing of plates, dishes, pots, foil trays etc. in the sink. Should be taken home for washing. If any of the above is left undone, renter is subject to a minimum charge of $50 cleaning fee that will be deducted from the security deposit refund. APLICATION. -- CONTRACT AND AGREEMENT --INDEMNIFICATION Lessee agrees to indemnify fully and save and hold harmless the Al-Huda Institute and, its officers, employees and staff, against all damage, claims, liabilities and causes of action of every kind and nature, to the extent they are caused by the conduct of the Lessee, its visitors, agents or employees. The Institute shall give Lessee prompt and reasonable notice of any such claims or actions and Lessee shall have the right to investigate, compromise, and defend the same to the extent of Lessee’s own interest.WAIVER OF CLAIMS The Al-Huda Institute and its officers, employees and staff shall not be liable for, and Lessee hereby releases all claims for, damage to or loss of personal property sustained by Lessee or any person claiming through Lessee resulting from any fire, accident, occurrence, theft in or upon the Leased Premises or building of which they shall be a part, or of adjoining or contiguous property of buildings, provided same are not due to negligence of the Institute, its agents or employees.
