السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
May Allah (swt) give a lot of Ajar to the teacher and her entire staff for their efforts to make us read Allah’s kalaam in a best way and may Allah (swt) accept this from all of us. Ameen
I started this class hoping to learn more about the Quran and how to recite it correctly. To me tajweed was more about the recitation and less about the rules. I was very happy to learn that there is more to it. This class not only taught me to beautify my recitation but also how to interact with Quran and its rules. Now when I open the Quran, I can understand the letter that guide our recitation. I can even differentiate between heavy and light letters. At first, I didn’t think that I was learning anything because the rules were really overwhelming and challenging but as we went along I realized that I can actually apply these rules by practicing my recitation. I’m glad that I took this class. The rules are more clear to me now. I know the importance of a solid foundation in regards to tajweed ruling. It links us to the way Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ was taught by Jibreel (AS). There is no better place to start learning about the Quran than to start with the understanding from the rules of recitation.
Alhamdulillah! Allah guided me to join this incredible course. What makes this course amazing, is the way it has been structured, the competent teacher and teacher assistants. In a nutshell, the whole team is wonderful. They are knowledgeable, dedicated, hard working and inspire students to work hard as well. Also, because I get the chance to be tutored personally, my performance has improved dramatically. I therefore urge each and everyone out there, to take this opportunity as a blessing from Allah, join the course, to improve our tilawah, to please Allah.
