Morocco and Libya Relief 2023
A catastrophe has hit the African countries of Morocco and Libya.
Morocco has been hit by a devastating earthquake which has caused more than 2900 deaths, and over 5000 people have been injured. People have lost their homes, are struggling to get access to food and clean water.
Libya was struck by Storm Daniel, which has caused unimaginable damage and destruction. Entire communities have been erased and the death toll has reached almost 20,000.
Thousands of people are still missing, those that are alive have been displaced and are in need of basic necessities like food, clean water and immediate shelter.
Serving Humanity has partnered with IDRFÂ to provide temporary shelter, urgent medical aid, clean water and food, and help with search and rescue efforts.
The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.” [Sahih al-Bukhari]
